font-size: 17px;\">When faced with disabled employees or employees who have become disabled, employers are faced with the decision of finding a means to accommodate the employee or risk retrenchment. In terms of the latter this often results in the loss of valuable skills or benefits from the employee and can also be a costly activity, especially when such needs to be fully justified in the face of South Africa\u2019s extensive Labour Legislations. <\/p>\n<p data-fusion-font=\"true\" style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 17px;\">Often the opportunity is in fact missed that the disabled individual can still be repositioned in the company or, with adjustment, accommodated in their position to allow for Talent Retention.
